Working with an ALLSTAR partner, the PAC WAP project covered the design, procurement and implementation across eleven facilities from Wollongong to Walcha.
Allstar provided Network Architects, Network Implementation Engineers, Cabling and Electrical services and Project Management.
The project encompassed the design of a centralised Wireless Access Controller environment with failover capability, local POE switching and installation of WAPs throughout the facilities. The wireless capability is required to facilitate a new patient care application which is to be accessible at the bedside.
Allstar delivered this Project on a fixed price basis and successfully integrated the solution in conjunction with three project partners. The project has been delivered on target, within budget and to the complete satisfaction of the end client.
Due to the nature of the environment, all works were performed during business
hours with some restricted periods to minimise patient and staff disruption.
Allstar commenced preparation for the relocation of their office space and data centre from Macquarie Place.
